Infrastructure Stimulus Fund construction projects underway in the City of Ottawa include sewage, culvert and drainage improvements; watermains; road resurfacing, widening and new construction; sidewalk renewal and new construction; streetscaping projects; traffic management improvements; multi-use pathway construction; Transitway improvements; recreational and cultural facilities; parks; and libraries. Our rural roads are our 'transit system.' The maintenance of Ottawa's rural roads is important to the livelihood and daily life of our Ward. This was acknowledged by the Rural Summits and we assigned a high priority to this area of work.
